Privacy Policy

• Account details: your email address, and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Google.
• What you create: ideas, scripts, captions, hooks, covers and ReelChat conversations, plus files you upload (PDFs, videos, reference images).
• Connected Instagram accounts: if you connect one, your username, profile photo, follower count, your reels and their insights (such as plays, likes, comments, saves and shares). The access token is encrypted at rest.
• Research data: public reels and public profile statistics collected when you run a search, cached so later searches load faster.
• Billing: your plan, subscription status and credit balance. Card details are entered on Dodo Payments' checkout and never reach our servers.
• Usage: daily generation counts and a credit ledger, used to apply plan limits, plus API key names and a one-way hash of each key.

To run the service: generate the content you ask for, show your own reel performance, apply plan limits, process payments, keep accounts secure and answer support requests.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Connected accounts use Instagram's official API with read-only permissions for basic profile information and insights. We can't post, comment or send messages on your behalf. We refresh your stats daily while the account stays connected.

You can disconnect an account at any time from My Accounts; its synced stats are deleted when you do.

We share data only with providers that help us run ReelIsViral, and only what each needs:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
• Vercel: hosting, and anonymous page-view counts (no cookies).
• Anthropic (Claude): ReelChat replies, hooks, bios and carousels, and scripts when you pick a Claude model, from your prompts and sources.
• Google (Gemini): writing scripts, captions and video coaching; watching the videos you upload for checks; generating cover images; Google sign-in if you use it.
• Deepgram: transcribing reels and videos.
• Apify and ScrapeCreators: collecting public Instagram reels and profiles for research.
• Dodo Payments: checkout, subscriptions and invoices.
• Meta (Instagram API): reading the accounts you connect, and public profiles of professional accounts for research.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to secure the Instagram connection step. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Data is encrypted in transit. Instagram access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, API keys are stored only as one-way hashes, and database access is restricted so each user can read only their own records.

We keep your data while your account is open. Delete your account from Settings and we remove your profile, ideas, scripts, uploads, covers, API keys and connected accounts, and cancel any active subscription.

Public research data is not tied to your account. We may keep billing records where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Most of this is self-serve in Settings; for anything else, email support@reelisviral.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

ReelIsViral is not meant for anyone under 13, the minimum age to use Instagram, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

If we make material changes we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you by email or in the app.
